Friday, 29th July 2011: VODAFONE, one of India’s leading cellular service providers and CROSSWORD, India’s leading chain of lifestyle bookstores announced the Vodafone Crossword Book Award 2010 shortlist.

The announcement was made by renowned Member of the Parliament, Mani Shankar Aiyar; Padma Shree & Padma Bhushan Award Winning Journalist & Author, Mark Tully; Editor and Award winning Author, Ira Pande; Journalist & Award Winning Author, Arunava Sinha and Editor, writer & critic, Anita Roy.

This shortlist of nominees was selected by an eminent panel of judges from the long list of 315 valid entries submitted by publishers in the categories of English Fiction, Indian Language Translation, English Non-Fiction, Children’s Writing & Popular Awards
