Mumbai, 20 August, 2012: Rio Tinto Diamonds unveiled their stylish Nazraana Lounge at the IIJW 2012. Amidst the glamour of India’s premier event, India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) Rio Tinto Diamonds has created a chic and luxurious oasis where celebrities and guests can relax and unwind. The Nazraana Lounge was inaugurated by the elegant Sonam Kapoor, brand ambassador for GJEPC. Leading dignitaries present were Australian Consul General, Steve Waters and GJEPC Chairman, Rajiv Jain.
In its endeavour to promote India as the innovation and design destination for jewellery, the GJEPC will host the third India International Jewellery Week from August 19 to 23, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai. Visitors will be enveloped in an ambience of opulence and luxury while lingering at the Nazraana jewellery counters. There are many interactive features incorporated within the lounge And visitors will have the unique opportunity to see jewellery artisans at work and understand the process of jewellery manufacturing. There will be portrait artists on hand to sketch visitors and present visitors with a memento from this exclusive lounge.
Rio Tinto Diamonds launched its flagship Indian diamond initiative ‘Nazraana’ in 2011. The collection is available pan India in over 100 independent jewellery retail stores.
