Celebrate the colourful spirit of the coast with authentic recipes and mouth watering specials. Choose from a separate à la carte menu of mouth-watering Gujarati cuisine that holds a place of pride for it’s fresh, flavourful food, that balances sweet and salty tastes to please your palate. North Gujarat, Kathiawad, Kachchh, and Surti Gujarat are the four major regions of Gujarat which are known for their distinct culinary styles are also well represented in the menu. This festival will give foodies an opportunity to taste classic Gujarati delicacies with a unique blend of sweet and spicy flavours that are the hallmark of rich Gujarati cuisine. The flavours of dishes in the festival have been carefully chosen and cooked to the right degree and time. Starting from 27th July, 2012 this festival will continue till 5th August, 2012.

The highlights of the menu are Kera Na Kabab (Shallow fried patties of raw banana flavoured with spices ), Mehi Paneer Na Kabab (Flavorful kebabs of paneer flavoured with fenugreek), Tarkari Na Pattice (Shallow fried patty of mix vegetables with a hint of Indian spices). For the main course you can go for Batata nu Shaak (Potato Curry), Batata Sukhi Bhaji (Dry Potato Curry), Kache Kele ke Kabab, Gujarati Kadhi (Curry made from buttermilk chhash and gram flour), Sev Tameta nu Shaak (Curry made of Green (Unripe) Tomatoes), Panchkutiyu Shaak (Five Vegetable Curry consisting of Ridge Gourd, Potato, Bottle Gourd, Eggplant, and Green Peas).

To finish off, one can savour the flavour of mouth watering Basundi, Dudhi no Halwo (Bottle Gourd Halwa). This food festival is sure to tempt the gastronomes across the town.
